Not only do I love going to the movies, but staying in on a Saturday night curled up on the couch watching a movie is fine with me. Netflix has become my new best friend. I don't know how I lived without it for so long.
Now you must be wondering what brought me to publish my opinions on movies. It's a movie called "2012" (2009). This movie had me arguing or agreeing with friends and family for days and days. I had so much to say about this one movie I said to myself, why cant I just write about it, isn't that what blogging is all about? So I started reading reviews from accredited newspapers such as the New York Times etc and I got slightly annoyed by them. Have you ever looked at movie reviews now a days? It seems critics are more interested in showing their vocabulary skills in a thesis length review than getting to the point. Should I watch this movie or what?!
I will get straight to the point.
Here's how the movies will be rated:
![]() | Excellent – Go see it ASAP!!! |
![]() | Good – Worth seeing now but no need to rush out with the opening night crowd |
![]() | Average – If you're bored one night you could get a kick out of this DVD rental |
![]() | Bad – Do NOT waste your time, even if it's free |
Now, there are a handful of movies that are super special. Near and dear to my heart some may say. These movies have surpassed all expectations and simply put deserve extra credit. As a result these extraordinary films have been dubbed my Favorite Movies and are awarded the equivalent of a 5.0,
