Review

The much hyped Princess and the Frog arrived and could not escape criticism claiming racism. There are stereotypical dumb white people along with stereotypical ignorant "black" characters (I don't know if you would consider the creatures black considering they are creatures and not human beings but whatever). Without going too deep into this racial issue, the movie is fairly balanced, it is not racist. Moving along, the film is a modern day retake on the classic Frog Prince fairytale, however instead of a kiss returning the frog prince to his human form it transforms Tiana into a frog. The flair of New Orleans brings life to the film in the form of its elegant style and not to mention the music. Disney's return to the classic animation of yesteryear reminds us of what it was like when we were kids.

Tiana: [freaking out] Stella just talked to me. A dog just spoke to me!
Prince Naveen: You know, if you are going to let every little thing bother you, it is going to be a very long night!
