Review

I stumbled on The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya randomly and I am glad I did. It is rare that a movie comes along that you have absolutely no idea what it is about. Apparently this movie is the continuation from an anime series, who knew. The film is centered around Kyon, a high school student who is in an after school group called the SOS Brigade. One day, he wakes up and Haruhi Suzumiya has disappeared and no one even remembers knowing her in the first place. Despite the fact that this is not the action anime I am used to watching, I was intrigued, surprised and curious to watch the series. This movie is ranked as one of the best by many Anime websites and it is well deserved.
